Rockport Garden Club will hear from guest speaker Davis Saltonstall, co-owner ScrapDogs Community Compost, Thursday, April 2, at 12:30 p.m., at West Rockport Baptist Church, 545 Park Street, West Rockport. 

"ScrapDogs aims to minimize landfill waste in Midcoast Maine by collecting food and yard waste to produce nutrient-rich compost available for our use," said the Garden Club, in a news release. "We look forward to learning more about their work and how it closes the loop of production and consumption."

Please use the entrance at the end of the building by the parking lot. The public is encouraged to attend.
